Energising the academic classroom

Lightning Session Stream 3: Student Engagement Practices

Time: 11:00 am – 11:25 am

Location: G18 & G06

This will be a practical session demonstrating activities that engage students and lift the energy in any classroom. We will briefly outline the benefits of energisers for academic students especially in aiding them to transition to the Australian University environment, where communication and collaboration are key. Then, teachers will participate in the activities themselves to experience these benefits and understand how to set them up. We will follow up with a pack of other engaging and energising activities that teachers from all faculties can take into their own classes.
