Assessment Rubric Design: UNSW College Principles and Standards

Training Lab 3

Time: 12:00 pm – 12:45 pm

Location: G18 & G06

In this training lab, you will explore a framework on how to communicate the principles and standards of an assessment rubric to staff and students. This framework will help staff to navigate issues related to grading, feedback and moderation and to actively promote student engagement with assessment criteria and assessment rubrics. This training lab is a crucial part of the 2025 Learning and Teaching Curriculum Audit and Gap Analysis and supports the key principles of transition pedagogy.

Note: This training lab is targeted at Department Coordinators, Course Conveners and Staff intending to upskill.
